What drives Kelowna prices
Kelowna is the Okanagan Valley's service and distribution centre on the Hwy 97 corridor. The city handles the freight the valley generates, from the produce and goods that move through the region to the loads that get sorted for local delivery. Hwy 97 is the main artery that ties the Okanagan together, and Kelowna sits at its centre. Carriers serving the valley use the city as a base for deliveries up and down the corridor, and that central position is what makes Kelowna the valley's freight hub.
