Busiest into the US right now: Ambassador Bridge at 35 min. Busiest into Canada: Peace Bridge at 13 min. Wait is idle time, and the faster crossing is usually the cheaper crossing. Polled every 30 minutes, each figure with its agency's own capture time.
Each crossing shows both directions. Into the US is the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) feed. Into Canada is the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) commercial lane feed. Each agency measures only the traffic entering its own country, so the two queues are separate and often differ. Waits change quickly and a figure thirty minutes old may not describe the queue you arrive at.

Reading these numbers
These are commercial lane figures, not passenger lanes. A crossing showing a short wait can still be slow for a specific load if secondary inspection is busy, and the feed carries no visibility into that.
We publish each agency's capture time (CBP and CBSA) rather than our own so you can judge staleness yourself. If a crossing has not reported recently, that shows in the timestamp.
