What drives Trois-Rivières prices
Trois-Rivières sits on Highway 40 and Highway 55 along the St. Lawrence. Pulp and paper and aluminum anchor the local economy, and the city holds a St. Lawrence port. Highway 40 is the main corridor between Montreal and Quebec, and the port moves river freight. That mix of road, river, and heavy industry keeps the market busy. Carriers running the corridor pass through a city built on manufacturing and shipping, where raw material moves by water and finished product moves by truck.
