Drummondville sits at the junction of Highway 20 and Highway 55, midway between Montreal and Quebec. Manufacturing and agri-food anchor the local economy. Highway 20 is the main east west corridor across the province, and Highway 55 cuts south toward the border. That position puts Drummondville on the natural path for freight moving between the two big Quebec markets and points further west.
