What drives North Bay prices
North Bay is the gateway to northern Ontario and sits at the Highway 11 and Highway 17 junction. Its economy runs on mining and forestry services. The junction position makes North Bay a supply point for the resource industries spread across the north, and trucks move equipment and supplies through the city on their way to mining and forestry operations. The two highways split the north from here, keeping the city tied to both corridors. That gateway role is what shapes the local fuel market, anchoring it to the resource economy of northern Ontario.
