What drives Labrador City prices
Labrador City sits in western Labrador, deep in iron ore country and a long way from any major supply centre. The IOC and Wabush mines anchor the local economy and draw the freight that keeps the town moving. The place is isolated. Fuel is trucked long distances to reach it, over a supply line with no short version. For a carrier this is remote territory, a mining centre where every load runs the long way in and out. Distance is what shapes how fuel reaches this market.
