What drives Sydney prices

Sydney is the regional centre of Cape Breton. Coal and steel are in the island's heritage, and Sydney is where that industrial history is rooted. It is the main market town for the island, the place Cape Breton looks to as its centre. The coal and steel industries are part of the past now, but they built the town and gave it its place on the map. Sydney serves as the hub for the island's communities, and that regional role is what defines it as a freight market today.
