Every EIA diesel district · priced in US dollars per gallon
Each district is an EIA pricing region. The price is that district’s observation from the EIA weekly retail diesel survey, converted from US dollars per gallon at the latest Bank of Canada USD/CAD rate (1 US gallon = 3.785411784 L).
EIA does not price diesel by state, so there is no state-level figure to show. The state pages give each state’s fuel tax and name the district its diesel figure comes from.
The North American index
The North American Diesel Index (NADI) is the mean of the Canadian national average and the US national average — each country counts once, not consumption-weighted. This week the NADI is 250.6¢/L, with Canada higher by 20.6¢/L.
